How to Design Your Own Etnies Shoe

Etnies has been manufacturing some of the most popular skate shoes for more than 20 years. The company also allows customers to design a pair of Etnies by using the "Design Your Own!" feature on the Etnies website. Users can customize their shoes by adding colors and patterns to different panels of the shoe. After customizing the design, customers can also add text to the back panels of their shoes.

      Go to the official Etnies website and click on the "Custom Shoes" link, which is located at the bottom of the screen.

      Highlight your preferred shoe option. The custom shoe options are listed by gender and shoe style, such as "Fader Mens" or "Jameson Girls." Select the "Start from Scratch" option.

      Select a color for each section of your shoe by using the "Color Your Shoes" toolbar. You can choose different colors for specific sections by clicking on the buttons next to each option, such as "Side Panel," "Toe Cap," "Sidewall" and "Laces." Depending on your chosen shoe style, you may also be able to select a pattern for the "Tongue Top" and the Etnies logo.

      Preview your design by clicking on the thumbnail previews for each section of your shoe. You can view a larger preview image by clicking on the magnifying glass button.

      Click on the "Name Your Shoes" link when you're finished customizing your shoe design. You will have the option to add text to the back of your shoe. Click inside the "Enter your Custom ID" text box and enter your name. Select a color for your text by clicking on the "Color of your ID" button.

      Select your gender, shoe size and shoe quantity.

      Click on the "Buy your Shoes" link, and then click on the "Add to Cart" button. Shoes will ship in six to eight weeks.
