Snowmobiling is a popular sport during the winter months of the year. Resorts in the New England and Midwest regions of the United States facilitate these activities by offering snowmobile rentals. The resort also offers rentals for snowmobile gear, including jackets and pants. A shuttle service is provided from the resort to the entrance of Baxter State Park.     Crooked Lake Resort

    • The Crooked Lake Resort in central Michigan, on the shore of Crooked Lake, is less than 20 minutes from Cadillac State Forest. The resort features 11 snowmobiles to rent. The engine power for the single-passenger snowmobiles ranges from 370cc to 440cc, while the double-passenger snowmobiles feature 570cc engines.
