Instructions

    • 1

Check that your backpack has straps on both sides of the pack. Most medium and large packs have two straps on each side to carry additional gear.

    • 2

Loosen the backpack straps and place the pack on its back on the ground.

    • 3

Slide your skis tailfirst into the straps so that the toe piece of the binding rests above the top strap and the heel piece of the binding rests above the bottom strap.

    • 4

Place the other ski on the opposite side in the same manner.

    • 5

Tighten the straps so that the skis remain in place.

    • 6

Put the tips of the skis together above the pack and tie them together with a string or rubber band. This will prevent the skis from sliding around when you are snowshoeing.

    • 7

Put on your pack and go.
