Instructions

    • 1

Start by wearing synthetic long underwear from top to bottom. Fabrics such as polypropelene will keep moisture away from your body and heat in.

    • 2

Wear a bulk layer such as a fleece or a wool sweater to keep warm.

    • 3

Don a water-resistant jacket and water-resistant pants to remain dry. These will protect you from the elements and the snow on the ground.

    • 4

      Wear gloves or mittens.

    • 5

Protect your eyes from sun and snow glare by wearing sunglasses or goggles.

    • 6

      Apply sunscreen and lip balm.

    • 7

Add or subtract these clothing layers as conditions change.
