1
Cut a cardboard box to fit the proportion of the surfboard. Cut only one end of the box so you can keep one set of folding flaps. Create a new set of flaps on the other end that can be folded over.
-
2
Place the surfboard in plastic bag. Wrap it tightly and seal up the bag to prevent the board from moving around in the plastic bag.
-
3
Wrap bubble tape around the sealed bag containing the surfboard. Use packing tape to wrap the bubble wrap around the bag, to keep the surfboard protected. Apply the tape liberally, especially around the nose and tail of the surfboard.
-
4
Place your packed surfboard into the cardboard box. Fill the sides and any open space with bubble wrap or extra towels or blankets to prevent the padded surfboard from moving around in the box.
-
5
Seal the box with packing tape. Label the box as fragile to ensure that it is handled carefully. Write your name, address and phone number on the box in case it becomes lost.
-
6
Deliver your boxed surfboard to the shipping company of your choice. Select a delivery method based on the box's destination, size and weight, and speed of delivery.
