1
Fold the 10-foot piece of paracord in half so that it makes a half-loop. Find the center of the loop. Slide the loop an inch into the female buckle latch's attachment slot on the end. Hold the loop in place, and slip the rest of both cord ends over the end of the buckle and under the loop, pulling it to tighten and secure the loop to the buckle.
-
2
Slip both free ends of the cord into the upper slot on the male half of the buckle latch, nearest the prongs. Pull the string ends through the slot until the cord measures your wrist circumferences. Check size with measuring tape. Pull the free ends all the way through the slot. You should have a double-string running from latch to latch and two free cords on either side.
-
3
Take the string on the right side, bringing it under the two center strings. Place the left string over the two center strings and under the loop you've created with the right string. Pull the half-knot gently, enough to secure it but not too tight.
-
4
Tie a half-knot on the opposite side. Take the left string, place it under the center strings, then pull the right string over the center cords and under the left loop. Tighten the knot. Repeat this step, alternating sides or the cord twists. Check your work as you go.

5
Trim the ends off the last knot. Carefully melt each end separately with a lighter, soldering iron or wood burning tool. Flatten the melted end with a metal butter knife. This step prevents the bracelet from fraying.
