The Auto Club Speedway in Fontana is where NASCAR’s “big boys” race. The two-mile, D-shaped oval features steeply banked turns and hosts two Sprint Cup races, the Auto Club 500 and the Pepsi 500, as well as Nationwide and Camping World Truck races. The facility occupies 568 acres and can accommodate about 100,000 fans. Visit the FanZone for tasty food, live entertainment, interactive displays and stunt shows, as well as plentiful shopping opportunities.
The Speedway provides loads of amenities for its guests, including free parking, medical emergency aid, lost-and-found services, identification wristbands for children and wheelchair accessibility throughout the facility. Two campsites, one offsite and one on the track’s infield, provide 24-hour security for RV campers. You can watch the race in style from one of the Speedway’s hospitality suites, get an inside view of racing with a Pre-race Pit Pass or rub elbows with your hero at the track’s Party Zone events, which feature interviews with drivers, crew chiefs and owners.

Toyota Speedway at Irwindale

The Toyota Speedway at Irwindale is located in the San Gabriel Valley, about 25 minutes north of Los Angeles. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown all run on this 1/2-mile track, a semi-banked oval that’s paved with asphalt. Through most of the season, NASCAR’s stock cars make way for racing in every shape and form, from sprint cars to trucks and midgets to supermodifieds. The facility offers plenty of parking and convenient snack bars, but bringing food in from outside is prohibited. Groups may use the track for events or enjoy the luxury of a suite or chalet with the option of tasty snacks provided by Speedway Catering. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas.

Madera Speedway

Madera sits toward the southern end of the Central Valley, just off Highway 99 and within easy driving distance of Los Angeles. The track is home to two “flavors” of NASCAR racing, the NASCAR Camping World Series West and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. This 1/3-mile short track is an asphalt-paved, semi-banked oval that gives fans fast-paced action from March through November. You can purchase tickets for individual events or for one of the track’s popular series. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more, and on Fan Appreciation Night each September your ticket is only $5. Fans are invited to rub elbows with their favorite drivers for the cost of a catered meal when the Speedway crowns its champion at the annual awards banquet.
