  1. Making a NASCAR T-Shirt

      Select a t-shirt that will complement your racing style and colors. Black, white, blue and red are popular choices for NASCAR shirts.

      Choose a name that represents you, or create one from your favorite NASCAR drivers. NASCAR drivers are household names for fans, so if you don't want to use your own name, draw one from current drivers. Also, select a number. This number will follow the driver at every race, so choose wisely. You do not want to be driver #13.

      Shop around and find an embroidery shop that can create the name and number to be sewn onto your t-shirt. These can be done relatively inexpensively.

      Find a set of racing flags that can be sewn onto the t-shirt. That will give it a little extra pop. Sew your name, number and flags onto the t-shirt, including some racing stripes for greater effect.

      Give your t-shirt that extra flair by signing it with a permanent marker.
