Decide what color paint you want to use. Most likely you will want to use your team's colors, but many teams have more than one color. Determine what you want your face paint to express to the other fans in the stadium.

    • 2

Buy the face paint. Be sure you purchase nontoxic paint; during the college football game your sweat may cause some of the paint to get near your eyes or mouth. Nontoxic paint is available at craft stores, many hardware stores and large retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target.

Apply the paint. If you are just applying one or two different colors, use a thick brush or even your hands to apply the paint to your face. To write a message with the paint (such as "Go Bulldogs!") you will need to use a much thinner brush. Don't apply the paint more than two hours before you go to the stadium--most college football games last at least three hours, and after seven or eight hours the paint will dry and become slightly more difficult to wash off.

Remove the face paint by simply washing with soap and water.
