How to Rent Bleachers

You may need to find temporary seating for sporting events, outdoor plays and other outdoor events. If you have a very large crowd coming, simply renting chairs is not enough. You can easily rent bleachers to accommodate your event's seating requirements.

Instructions

    • 1

Determine if you need seating for a small or large group. The number of people attending your function will determine what size and height bleachers you need to rent.

    • 2

Check around at sporting stores, event holders and the Internet to see where you can rent bleachers for temporary use. Rental World in Limerick, Pennsylvania, and Bleachers on the Move in Cambridge, Wisconsin, are good places to begin your search.

Specify the strength you are looking for in rental bleachers. Usually made of heavy weight aluminum, an average five-bench bleachers unit will hold up to 50 people. The shorter three-bench units hold less weight and work well for children only. Very large units called grandstands, which hold up to 15 benches, can hold three times the weight of a smaller unit.

Look at Brown United's website if you are looking for bleachers to seat large crowds. You can go all of the way to a 15-seat high bleacher if you expect to have a very large crowd.
