How to Make an NCAA Teaser Bet

The NCAA is one of the most exciting sports organizations in operation today. Whether it is football, baseball, basketball or any other sponsored collegiate sports, NCAA games are known for being nail-biting, volatile and unpredictable. The NCAA is also popular for those looking to bet on games, and making a teaser bet is a great way to do it and give yourself a good chance of winning.

Instructions

Determine which games you want to make a teaser bet on. During the season, there can be upwards of 100 different games being played, many of which end up being aired on national television.

    • 2

Contact your gambling resource or head to an online betting website like BetUS.com (see Resources below). From here you will be able to see which games are currently available for betting, as well as place a bet online.

    • 3

Choose your team. Take note of the current point spread and over/under to determine how much of a teaser you wish to place on the game. Sometimes the current point spread and over/under already fall within the odds you'd like, so adding a teaser to the bet will end up diluting your winnings. Take the teaser when you want added assurance.

    • 4

Choose the teaser bet you'd like to place. The most common teaser is (in football) a 6-point teaser. This will increase the overall point spread by 6 points, while raising the over/under by 6 points as well.

Play a combination bet. A combination bet is a bet in which a player places a single wager on the outcome of several games. You can make each game bet a teaser bet, but you must succeed in betting correctly on each of the games or the bet is lost in total.
