How to Pick Shot-put Shoes

In shot put competitions, athletes throw, or put, iron or brass balls as far as they can across a field. Assess which technique you most use in shot put before you select the proper shot-put shoes. Whether you are spinning or gliding will make all of the difference in shoe choice. Sports shoe stores sell shot-put shoes in two styles, glide and spin. Glide shoes feature a textured bottom surface that enables you to grip the ground. Spin or rotational shoes have a smooth bottom surface that allows you spin more easily.

A shot-put shoe is most often worn for a very brief period of time. These details can mean the difference between a comfortable shoe and a shoe that just does not feel the way it should.
