How to Read Stadium Seats
Instructions

1
Look at your ticket once it arrives in the mail or you print it electronically. Often, it provides you with the necessary information to read your ticket and arrive at the correct stadium seat.
-
2
Read the section numbers or letters. This indicates where your seat is located within the stadium. Often sections are designated by letters of the alphabet, with the "A" section closest to the stage or floor. Other arenas list the sections by number. Also notice if the section name has two letters or numbers. Section "A" is not the same as section "AA."
-
3
Browse the stadium seating chart online at the team or arena's website. Generally, they have a large seating chart with hints on where it is best to park to enter at a door that is closest to your section.
-
4
Call the stadium's phone number and ask which entrance is closest to your seating. They are familiar with these types of questions and can give you tips on parking and other concerns.
-
5
Enter the building and look for signs that point you to the different sections. Go toward the section listed on your ticket. Another idea is to ask the employee at the door or ushers throughout the building if there are not any signs.
-
6
Climb or descend the stairs or go down the hallway that connects with your section. Once you arrive at the section read the ticket to find the row and seat numbers.
-
7
Walk up or down the steps to arrive at your row number. The stadium seats typically have numbers printed on them. At the end of each new row there is often a nameplate that lists the section number or letters and the row number.
-
8
Find the correct row according to your ticket. Excuse yourself when maneuvering past others to your seats as the row may be full if you are arriving late.
