1
Get a schedule. The dates, times and networks that carry the U.S. Open are listed at USOpen.com (the official site of the U.S. Open). Type this address into your browser and when the page loads, move your mouse to the "News & Photos" menu. A horizontal sub-menu will appear with "TV Schedule" as one of the choices. Click on it to get this year's U.S. Open schedule.

2
Go to the networks that are broadcasting the U.S. Open. Type the network names from the USOpen.com "TV Schedule" page into Google or another search engine and click on their site addresses in the search results. Since every network's site is different, look for a "video" or "watch" link, or use their search field to find out if you can see the tournament on their site. If you go to ESPN.com, you can move your mouse to the "Watch" menu and click on the "ESPN3.com" sub-menu. When the page loads, click on the "Watch Now" button and choose your Internet Service Provider (ISP) from the pop-up window. You'll have to login to your ISP to access the feed.

Go to streaming video sites. There are two sites where you're likely to find free coverage of the U.S. Open. The first one is at Justin.tv and you'll need to use its search function to find the stream. You can get to it by clicking the "Explore" button on the home page and typing "US Open" in the upper right search field. When the search results load, click on the relevant video to start the stream. The second site is at ATDHE.net and it's even easier to use since it only carries live streams for the current day. Just click on the "Live Sports" link at the top of the home page and scroll down the list to the U.S. Open link. Click on the link to watch the coverage. If you're willing to pay $12.95 for a one-year subscription, you can also access every major men's and women's tournament around the world at WatchLiveGolf.com.

Install streaming TV software. If you prefer to use desktop software that gives you access to thousands of local and global channels, including ones that carry the U.S. Open, there are two sites that have it. Watch-Golf-Online.com and WatchGolfOnline.biz sell streaming video software that connects to premium programming through their subscription service. You can watch sports, movies and other shows from countries all over the world. You'll have to submit some personal information to get to their prices, but both of them offer email support and one even has a list of phone numbers you can call.
