NCHA World Championship Futurity

The National Cutting Horse Association World Championship Futurity is held each year at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth. The 19-day event usually takes place in late November and early December. The futurity is for 3-year-old horses that have not been shown. About $200,000 is awarded to the champion and $1.5 million divided among the top 25 contestants.

NCHA World Finals

The National Cutting Horse Association holds its World Finals each February in Amarillo. The group's top 30 money- earning members have a chance to compete for the title of world champion. The event, at the Amarillo National Center on the Tri-State Fair Grounds, lasts a little over a week.

Super Stakes

The Super Stakes and Super Stakes Classic is a three-week cutting horse event sponsored by Borden Milk at the Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth. It usually takes place in late March and early April. Events include open classes, non-professional classes, Super Stakes 4-year-old nonprofessional classes and Super Stakes 5- and 6-year-old nonprofessional classes. With more than 1,500 contestants, Super Stakes hands out about $3 million in total prize money.
