Cutting Horse Events in Texas

In cutting horse events, riders and horses are judged for their ability to single out a steer or horse from a herd. Texas is home to the National Cutting Horse Association, so it's no surprise that the state is home to many cutting horse events that take place year-round. Weatherford is known as the Cutting Horse Capital of the World because of its many professional cutting horse trainers and winning cutting horses.
