How to Video Conference During a Ball Game

- Skype 5.0 or higher
- Hands-Free headset
- Laptop computer with a built in webcam
- USB Wireless Internet Card with a high speed connection

Turn on the laptop and plug in both the USB wireless Internet card and the hands-free headset. Then check to make sure that you have established an Internet connection with a strong signal.

Open the Skype application and conduct a test call. Activate the Skype application, put on the hands-free headset and select the make a Skype Test Phone Call Option. Once the test call is established, record a test message and select the playback option to make sure that the audio/video is recording to your satisfaction.

Configure the video conference. Select the Group Video Calling option within the Skype application. Then add the Skype contacts that you wish to establish a video conference with.

Start the video conference. Conduct a last minute self check to make sure that your appearance is presentable. When you feel ready, place the group video call to start the video conference.

Enjoy watching the ball game while participating in a video conference. Once everyone has accepted their Skype call requests and their video connections have been established. You can now sit back, call over a snack, participate in a video conference and most importantly enjoy a ball game while doing it all at the same time.
