How to Customize NHL Jerseys

Customizing an NHL jersey is just one of many ways hockey fans can have fun with the game. By having your own custom jersey, you can feel like you are part of the team, with your own name and number, maybe even naming yourself captain! Fortunately, the NHL has made it so that customizing your own jersey takes just a few clicks of the mouse.

      Go to Shop.NHL.com, the NHL's online store. On the drop-down menu at the top of your screen under "Jerseys", select the team whose jersey you want.

      Scroll down to the bottom of your team's page and select "View All Items." Again, scroll all the way the bottom where you will find customizable jerseys. Click on the jersey color and style you want.

      Select a size from the drop-menu on the right-hand side. Customized jerseys are sized between 50 (about a medium) to a 60 (XXL). You can also click on the size chart to determine your size. Then enter the name and number you want on the back of the jersey (which costs an extra $80) or select from the team's roster. You can also have some fun with the customization by putting the "C" (for team captain) or "A" (for alternate captain) on your jersey.

      Review your order and then purchase the jersey, using your credit card to finalize the order. Your purchase should be delivered within 5-7 business days as long as the jersey is in stock.
