How to Decorate a Room With a San Francisco Giants Theme
-
1
Paint the room in the colors of the San Francisco Giants. Orange and black are the primary colors of the Giants and have been since the team played in New York. Consult a uniform or the team logo in order to get the exact shade of orange for your room.
-
2
Paint the logo of the Giants on walls of the room. If you paint one wall black, paint the “SF” used by the Giants in orange on that wall. If the wall is orange, use black for the lettering.
-
3
Find a large picture of AT&T Park and place it somewhere in the room. AT&T Park, home of the Giants, is famous for some of the best views in all of baseball. It's also known for the McCovey Cove, where baseball fans sit in kayaks listening to the Giants game on the radio and hoping that a home run ball will land in the water.
-
4
Place a picture of “The Shot Heard 'Round the World” in the room. Bobby Thompson's walk-off home run to win the National League pennant for the New York Giants in 1951 is arguably the most well-known sports event in American history. There are numerous pictures to be found of this event either online or at any place that sells baseball merchandise.
-
5
Dedicate a portion of the room to Willie Mays. Willie Mays played for the Giants for over 20 years and is without question one of the greatest players in the history of baseball. Perhaps you could find a replica Mays jersey at a team shop or the Internet, frame it and then show it off in the room.

6
Find pictures and other merchandise commemorating the time Barry Bonds spent with the Giants and place it in the room. Although controversial, there is no question that Bonds will be remembered as one of the all-time great players in the history of the franchise.
