-
2
Use a needle and thread to make two small stitches on each side of the jersey. Be sure to pass your thread through the sleeves and both folded halves of the jersey to ensure that it does not unfold.
-
3
Measure the dimensions of your folded jersey using a ruler. Purchase a shadow box that is large enough to fit snugly around the folded jersey.
-
4
Affix the jersey to the mat board that comes with the shadow box to ensure that the jersey does not move when the shadow box is hung on the wall. To do this, use fabric adhesive or make small stitches in the back of the jersey.
-
5
Hang the shadow box in the desired location.
Other Options
-
6
Purchase a large poster board frame with a mat board. Pin the unfolded jersey to the mat board and place it in the frame. Your jersey should be framed with the back side up so that the name and number of the player are visible.
-

Purchase an ultra mount jersey hanger. These stainless-steel rod hangers allow you to hang the jersey directly on the wally without the need for a frame or display case. Screw the mount in the desired location and hang the jersey.
-
8
Knot two pieces of fishing wire around the metal parts of two clothespins. Staple the fishing wire to the ceiling and suspend the jersey from the clothespins. This will allow you to display both sides of the jersey. For best results, use stainless steel clothespins instead of wooden ones.
