How to Get Redskins Season Tickets

The Washington Redskins are an NFL franchise that dates back to 1932, when they were known as the The Braves. They adopted the name Redskins in 1933, when they moved to Boston. The team became the Washington Redskins in 1937. Because the Redskins are perennially one of the most popular teams, season tickets are becoming increasingly hard to obtain.

      Visit the Redskins' website or call (301) 276-6800 to fill out the "Season Ticket Request Form." Typically, this will not guarantee you a set of season tickets; it will only put you on the waiting list for buying season tickets. Season tickets holders have the first opportunity to rebuy their seats the follow season. If they choose to decline the offer, the the next person in line on the waiting list gets the chance to purchase them.

      Visit the Redskins' website, call (301)-276-6800 or go to the Washington Redskins box office window to purchase your season tickets once your spot on the waiting list is reached. Someone from the organization's ticket office will contact you by telephone or email.

      Go to the StubHub website to avoid the waiting line and buy your season tickets from a current Washington Redskins season ticket holder.

      On StubHub, click "NFL" from the list of options on the left of the screen and select "Washington Redskins." This will take you to a page that says "Buy" or "Sell"; click on the "Buy" button. You will be forced to pay a markup ticket value for the season tickets. StubHub is a sanctioned service, so there is a cap on how much of a markup sellers can put on the tickets.

      Scroll through and select the season tickets you wish to purchase; tickets will be categorized by pricing and seating, so make sure you are aware of where the seats are located in the stadium before you purchase the tickets. There will be a interactive stadium seating chart on the top right corner of the page where you can see where each section is located. In addition, be advised that even though you are buying season tickets, since you are not doing it from the Washington Redskins directly, the seller will still retain the rights to purchase the seats next season.
