1
Place the Cobra Pendulum sight against the sight mounts on the edge of your compound bow. Sight mounts are found near the handle grip. Insert the four set-screws into the four holes on the sight and align to the sight mounts on the bow.
-
2
Screw the sight to the bow. Set up a target approximately 25 feet away from your tree stand. Go up into the tree stand with several practice arrows.
-
3
Adjust the sight by turning the adjustment screws (near the pendulum itself) clockwise to bring the pendulum up to the center of the sight. Do this while aiming at the target to calibrate for the descent angle. Nock a practice arrow and fire at the target. Note where the arrow went in relation to your point of aim. Adjust the set screws to get the desired angle for the sight, which is achieved when the arrows hit consistently where you aim.
-
4
Move the target to about 20 yards from the tree stand. Take several practice shots and notice where the arrows hit compared to where you aim. Adjust the windage screw on the inside of the sight in quarter-turn increments, taking a practice shot between adjustments. Stop adjusting when the arrows consistently hit your point of aim.
