How to Mount Fiber Optic Sights on a Receiver
Sight accuracy is extremely important to both hunters and shooting enthusiasts. Without accuracy, target acquisition is very difficult. Many shooters choose to install fiber-optic sights to increase sight visibility, which can help to increase accuracy. Generally, most rifles or pistols come standard with iron sights. These sights are typically installed via a dovetail groove on the receiver. In order to install fiber-optic rear sights you have to remove your stock sights. Mounting fiber-optic sights on a receiver can be accomplished using a few common gunsmith tools.
