How to Install a Carolina Whisker Biscuit Arrow Rest

Since its introduction in 1999, the Whisker Biscuit brand arrow rest has become one of the most popular rests available with hunters and target shooters. The design lets the arrow rest on a series of bristles or "whiskers" rather than a typical hard rest, which in theory gives the arrow less movement upon release. Installation of the rest is fairly simple by some easy steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the mounting bracket of the Whisker Biscuit rest against the rest mount on the riser of the bow.

    • 2

Line up the holes of the bracket and those that exist on the riser.

    • 3

Use your fingers to screw the supplied Allen bolts through the bracket and into the bow riser.

    • 4

Tighten the screws down using the appropriately sized Allen key.

    • 5

Check the level of the rest by nocking an arrow to the string and looking at it from a side view. It may need to be adjusted, but this can be done with the elevation screw on the rest itself.
