How to Measure Bat Length

The length of a baseball player's bat should be proportional to his height. This proportion allows the player to make the most efficient swings and aptly hit the ball using the bat's sweet spot. A baseball bat's length encompasses three distinct sections: the barrel, the handle and the knob.
