How to Make Basketball Shoes Stick to the Floor
Sticky shoes are incredibly important when it comes to basketball. If you lack traction on your sneakers or play with worn treads, you will not be able to grip the court properly and may risk rolling your ankle. The game of basketball involves constant movement and you are required to change directions continuously. Increasing the traction of your shoes on the basketball court can improve your game and reduce your chances of injury.

Clean the bottoms of your basketball shoes before and after each game with a wet paper towel. Never wear your basketball shoes outside of the gym.

Purchase a sticky mat designed for basketball shoes. Stepping on the sticky mat before entering the basketball court will greatly enhance your shoes stickiness even if you're playing on a dusty court.
