Professional basketball player Dwyane Wade hosts a summer basketball camp entitled, "Dwyane Wade All-Star Camp." The camp is open to boys and girls ages 7 to 18 years old. According to dwyanewade.com, participants of the camp receive nine hours of expert instruction, autographed camp team photos, opportunities to win contests and prizes, and a camp T-shirt. The cost of the camp is $299, and as of 2010, the site of the camp is at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. Wade also leads a second basketball camp at Richards High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

Pro Camp Worldwide, an events management company that assists pro athletes with their camps, reports that participants at Camp Melo "will experience various stations, specializing in fundamental skills and the team concept of basketball." The cost of Camp Melo also includes an autographed team photo, a camp T-shirt, chances to win contests and prizes, and six hours of expert instruction. As of 2010, campers gather at Thunder Ridge High School in Littleton, Colorado, for the camp.
