Each of the Cell bowling balls from Roto Grip feature a specialized cover stock. The cover stock refers to the outer layer of the ball that makes contact with the oiled surface of the bowling alley. Each of the Cell models features Roto Grip's signature cover stock known as Cytoplasmic XL. According to Roto Grip, the Cytoplasmic XL cover stock remains ideal for medium to heavily oiled bowling lanes. (See Reference 2) The polished cover stock of the Cell bowling ball allows you to spin and curve the ball during advanced rolls. The Super Cell bowling ball from Roto Grip features an asymmetrical shape that helps to increase the velocity of your roll.

Roto Grip offers its signature Cell balls in different weights to accommodate the varying sizes of avid bowlers. According to Roto Grip, the Super Cell bowling ball is offered in 12 to 16 lb models. (See Reference 3) The Mutant and Rogue Cell models from Roto Grip also have size options that range from 12 to 16 lbs. Roto Grip has reissued a few of its vintage Cell bowling ball models. The Active Cell vintage model has a weight that varies from 10 to 16 lbs.

The varying colors of the Cell models allow you to choose the Roto Grip bowling ball that fits your style. The Mutant Cell bowling ball features an aqua, purple and red finish with copper colored letters. The Rogue cell model features a sky blue, purple and pearl colored cover stock. The Super Cell bowling ball from Roto Grip features an orange, black pearl and royal blue cover stock.
