Instructions

Wipe your bowling ball down with rubbing alcohol after you bowl. Put a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a paper towel and wipe the entire surface of your ball, including inside the finger holes. This will help get rid of oil that has built up during the game.

Fill a bucket about halfway with lukewarm water and few drops of grease-cutting dishwashing liquid. Leave enough room in the bucket so it won't overflow once you place your ball in it.

    • 3

Soak your bowling ball in the warm water and detergent for no more than 20 minutes. If you soak it longer than that, you run the risk of warping your bowling ball. This will clean all of the oil out of your bowling ball.

Remove your bowling ball from the water and dry it off with a clean towel.
