How to Bowl Left-Handed With a Right-Handed Bowling Ball

1
Go to a local bowling shop and have them measure the left hand and compare it to the measured holes on the right-handed bowling ball. In some cases, a bowler will have different measurements on the left hand than the right hand.
-
2
Alter the bowling ball as necessary to make the left-handed swing feel comfortable. If the holes are too big, a bowler should purchase a bowling sleeve. Conversely, if they are too small the bowling shop may need to drill larger holes on the ball.
-
3
Keep the same bowling form for the left-handed swing. Be sure that you use the same comfortable bowling swing from the left side as you did from the right side. If there is any decline in success or pain using the same swing, make any necessary adjustments.
-
4
Test the ball before leaving the bowling shop. Make certain the ball feels comfortable and that the grip is solid.
-
5
Throw some practice rounds before competing in a bowling match. It may take a while to get accustomed to bowling left-handed. Just be patient and the new swing will eventually become second nature.
