Culebra is one of the Spanish Virgin Islands governed by Puerto Rico. When you snorkel in Culebra, Puerto Rico, you can make your way around the island and through the tropical reefs teeming with known and unknown fishes. Leatherback turtles make their home here, and diving with these creatures is an added experience for divers that haven't already had this unique opportunity.

The sun's rays are strong here. Even when you are in the water, wear a T-shirt to prevent sunburn. Check with locals or your dive shop on the currents. Knowing the currents will help you safely return. Then you will still have energy to enjoy the rest of your time in Puerto Rico.
