Information on the Suzuki C50 Motorcycle
-
Evolution
-
Mechanically, the Suzuki C50 hasn't changed much over its short history. The engine in the 2005 edition is the same as the engine in the 2011 version. The bike has gotten heavier, from 542 lbs. in 2005 to 610 lbs. in 2011. The 4.1-gallon fuel tank has remained standard throughout.
Special Editions
-
Suzuki began releasing Boulevard 50C special-edition motorcycles in 2009 and has manufactured one since. The special-edition bikes are mechanically identical to the regular series for their respective years, but feature physical changes that include cast-aluminum wheels, round headlights, a two-toned paint job and a studded seat with an embossed Suzuki logo.
C50C and C50T
-
Two other editions of the motorbike -- the "T" and "C" series -- have been produced concurrently with the regular editions. Suzuki made a "C" edition in 2006 and 2007. The Boulevard C50 C featured a pearl-white paint job and white-faced speedometer, but was otherwise the standard series. The "T" series, first produced in 2006, was a touring bike complete with high windshield and spacious seat with a backrest for passengers.
