1
Establish a budget for your decorations. Raise money by charging your team players (or their parents if it's a young team) a participation fee for the season. Send a letter to local companies and organizations asking for sponsorship for football decorations to smarten up the appearance of your team's playing field.
-
2
Decorate your football team's field by handing out some banners, flags, scarves or hand-clappers, available at a range of stores and websites. Stick to your budget, though, and look into improvising and making your own banners and flags using bed sheets and fabric dye, for example. Make all of the decorative items in your team's colors so everyone knows that you have the majority of the crowd support.
-
3
Request permission to decorate the locker room, and also ask the team's coach about areas where you can pin up items. Hang inspirational posters from a range of sports, not just football, which you can buy at large general sports stores or online.

4
Designate each of your players a space and hook for their gear -- in the absence of actual lockers -- in the locker room. Mark their space with an enlarged photograph of the player in action, making a key tackle or running into the end zone. Take an electronic photograph of each player on a CD or memory disc to a digital printing store for enlargement. Hang the photographs above each clothes hook.
