Things You'll Need
- Velcro strap or rubber bands

1
Run your lace through the two holes by the crotch and pull the string so both ends are of equal length.
-
2
Push the right string up the next hole on the left side of the fly, diagonally across from it, and push the left string up the next hole on the right side of the fly in the same manner. Repeat until the lace crisscrosses through all the holes.
-
3
Put the pants on the player and tie the lace ends in a bow.
-
4
Ask the player to move around to ensure that the fit is good. If the player feels limited in mobility, the fit is too tight. Untie and loosen the lacing. If the player feels the pants are too loose, tighten the lacing starting at the lace nearest the crotch.

5
Make an "X" with the two ends of string and wrap one end around the other as you would when you begin to tie your shoes. Pull tight.
-
6
Make a loop with each string.
-
7
Wrap one loop around the other and pull tight to complete a bow. Make the bow smaller by gently pulling the ends out of the bow, or make it larger by pulling on the loops.

8
Pull the cuff of your pants out away from your leg. For your right leg, this means pulling the excess to the right.
-
9
Fold the extra fabric tight against the outside of your ankle.
-
10
Fasten your pant leg by running the Velcro strap around your ankle or stepping into a rubber band.
