USA Football Grants

USA Football is an independent non-profit organization that partners with national and local organizations to support youth football programs around the country. USA Football provides grants every year for teams in need. Often, USA Football partners join forces to raise money and give grants to teams and leagues. Every year they find new partners and sources of support for youth football.
  1. Equipment Grants

    • USA Football partners with the NFL Youth Football Fund to offer equipment grants to teams in need. Each year more than $1 million in funding is granted to hundreds of youth football programs around the country. The funds go to purchase uniforms, padding, training equipment and other equipment necessary for developing strong, capable football players. Community leagues and high school teams are eligible for these grants, which total between $1,000 and $1,500.

    NPRA Youth Football Grant

    • USA Football partners with the National Recreation and Park Association to provide funding to football programs for youths who play on public fields across the nation. These grants range from $1,000 to $5,000 and can be used for field improvement, equipment and other support for teams that rely on public parks and local parks and recreation agencies.

    Brax Spirit Cups

    • This funding opportunity from Brax is popular with youth football leagues around the country. By providing plastic cups featuring NFL teams, Brax gives teams and families a chance to hit the streets and raise money for their team straight from the community. Brax cups sales fundraisers have been very successful for football clubs and schools, as the cups have national appeal and are popular and relatively easy to sell. Teams have reported earning upward of $14,000 with the Spirit Cups program. The cups sell in sets of four for $15 apiece, and the organization keeps $5. Once an organization has sold 1,000 sleeves, its take rises to $6. According to teams and leagues that have participated, once there are a few teams worth of kids involved, it's a modest goal.
