1
Set up to the ball with good posture. Place your feet shoulder width apart with your knees slightly bent and your back straight. Take a firm grip on the club, but not too tight. Bend at the hips to position the club behind the ball. A good setup position helps promote a good swing. The Titelist blades are irons and, while the ball position may vary slightly with each club, the basic stance will be the same. You will bend a bit more with your shorter scoring blades and the ball will move about a half inch back in your stance with each successive club from 3-iron through the pitching wedge.

Lead with your shoulders to pivot your body at the hips, beginning your back swing. Concentrate on rotating around your spine and completing a full shoulder turn for maximum power. Ideally, your leading shoulder will finish under your chin at the top of your backswing. Hinge your wrists to elevate the club and keep your leading arm straight.

3
Shift your weight forward, making a slight lateral move with your hips, and allow your hips to begin turning toward the target. You should feel as though your hips are pulling your shoulders, and then your arms and hands, through the swing. Titleist blades have a solid, but not heavy, club head feel so it is easier to lead the club with your hands than it is with clubs that have heavier heads.

4
Letting your hands lead the club head through contact with the ball, concentrate on striking the ball in the center of the club face with downward contact. You should produce a divot in the grass in front of the ball position. At contact, your belly button should be pointed toward the target. The Titlests MBs, like other blades, have less bounce on the sole and can dig in to the ground easier than other clubs, so the downward strike is critical to good contact.

5
Complete a full follow through on your swing to impart maximum power to the ball. The club should pull your hands, arms and shoulders around to complete the swing. You will feel your trailing hand turning over your leading hand and weight will be forward on your front foot.
