Taylormade Burner Driver Specs
-
Club Head
-
The 460 cc Burner head has a dual crown that enlarges the power base and lowers the center of gravity, causing a higher ball flight and reduced spin. This allows for longer carry off the tee in addition to longer roll once the ball lands. The inverted cone shape of the head promotes a high moment of inertia, which leads to more accuracy and consistency. The standard lofts are 9.5 to 12 degrees with a 60-degree lie angle. Left-handed versions are also available.
Shaft
-
The standard shaft for a TaylorMade Burner Driver is 46.25 inches of regular flex graphite. It weighs 49 grams and is calculated as a D4, meaning it responds better to more forceful swings than it does to weaker ones. The flexes can be altered upon specifications and can even be switched to steel if preferred. The features of the club head cannot be fully realized if attached to an uncomfortable shaft.
TaylorMade Knock-Offs
-
Counterfeit golf clubs have become an increasing problem. TaylorMade reminds its customers that though they may appear similar, knock-off clubs can be sorely lacking. Always check for a serial number stamped into the hosel of every TaylorMade wood and on either the 5 or 7 iron, depending on set. Only purchases from a licensed vendor can be guaranteed authentic. Internet auction websites are completely unauthorized by TaylorMade, making these sites appealing to counterfeiters.
