How Do You Change the Nike SQ Dymo2 Str8-Fit Driver?

You can adjust the Nike SQ Dymo STR8-Fit driver to eight different settings. These settings change the face angle and lie angle of the club head to allow for a variety of shots. The face angle is the angle of the club face at address, which can be slightly open, closed or neutral. The lie angle is the angle at which you must hold the club to lie flat on the ground. Changing these angles can promote a draw or fading effect, as well as compensate for a hitch in your swing. You can also adjust the loft of the club head, which can change the height of the ball's trajectory.

Instructions

    • 1

Fit the wrench around the hosel of the club and twist counterclockwise until loosened. The hosel is the metal joint linking the club head to the shaft.

    • 2

Use your hand to manually change the position of the club head to your desired form. An open face promotes a fade, while a closed face encourages a draw. Taller players need a flatted lie angle, and shorter players need a more upright angle. Force generally dictates trajectory, so players with a slower swing may need more loft than players with a faster swing.

Fit the Nike wrench around the hosel of the club once again, after the adjustments have been made, and twist clockwise until securely fastened. The wrench will blink and beep to let you know the head is tightened to its maximum.
