How to Adjust the Fit of the Nike Str8
Things You'll Need
- Nike STR8-Fit driver
- Nike loft, lie and face angle wrench
Instructions

1
Locate the metal joint linking the club head to the shaft -- this is called the hosel.
-
2
Fit the Nike wrench around the outer jacket of the hosel joint and twist counterclockwise until it loosens completely.
-
3
Use your hand to manually change the form of the club head. An open club face promotes a fade or compensate for a hook, while a close face creates a draw or compensate for a slice. Shorter players need a flatter lie angle, while taller players need a more upright lie angle. Golfers with a weaker swing should alter the head to create more loft, as swing speed dictates the height of a golf ball's trajectory.

4
Fit the Nike wrench around the hosel jacket and twist clockwise to lock into place the alterations you've made. The Nike wrench beeps and blinks to let you know the hosel is as tight as possible.
