1
Visit a store or website that sells car radios and look for a mid-range model. It should be of a high enough wattage to block out the sound of the golf cart and any other noises on the course. However, it needs to be weatherproof as carts can get wet. This also applies to the speakers you select.

2
Mount your radio in the glove box or, if your golf cart does not have one, make a hole under the seat that is just the right size to accommodate your radio. Attach a plastic cover for extra protection if you are unable to mount the radio in a weatherproof position. Make sure there is space behind the radio for when you come to wire it in.

3
Fix the speakers to the cart. They can either be installed under the hard canopy, between the seats, or in the part of the cart where you store your golf clubs. Secure the speakers by drilling a suitably sized hole and using bolts rather than screws. The type of bolts contained in most tool kits will be adequate. Seal the bolt heads with silicone to prevent any water from seeping into the holes.

4
Ensure the red power cable is wired to a positive terminal and that the black cable is wired to a negative terminal. Attach the wires to the speakers and run the wire along the bottom of the cart if possible. Drill holes in the bottom of the cart and feed the wires through if you want to keep the wires out of sight.
