Buy Procurve (see Resources below) to curve your hockey stick. This product has taken the guesswork out of forming the curve on your hockey stick. A series of adjustable clamps are attached to the blade of your hockey stick. You can tighten or ease the pressure in various places. Then after a few days, you have your curve, and you can form the exact curve every time.

    • 2

Gently heat the blade with a blowtorch or a long fireplace lighter. Get it warm and pliable without scorching the blade. Make you wear goggles and gloves to protect your hands.

    • 3

With your oven mitts on, curve the heated stick gently into a curve. Work slowly so that you don't snap your blade.

    • 4

Re-heat and re-shape if the blade becomes tough to manipulate.

    • 5

Tape your blade once it cools and you are happy with your curve. Tape toe to heel so that the puck "grips" better to your stick. You can also finish with a coat of wax over your blade. This will repel moisture and prolong the life of your ice hockey stick.
