1
Rotate your paper portrait-style (the long edges on the sides). Draw a large oval on it, about 10 inches long and 7 inches wide.
-
2
Draw two circles, 1 1/2 inches in diameter, two-thirds of the way up the oval using the compass. The circles should be side-by-side and about an inch apart. These are for the eyeholes. Draw a circle, a quarter-inch in diameter, about 2 inches below the space between the eyeholes for the nose.
-
3
Make three circles, all a quarter-inch in diameter, spaced a half-inch apart in a column. The column of circles should be an inch to the right and an inch below the nose hole. Draw a second identical column of circles an inch to the left and an inch below the nose hole. Add two more circles to the right of the columns of circles and aligned diagonally with the nose hole. Draw two more circles in a similar manner to the left of the columns of circles.
-
4
Create three circles, a quarter-inch in diameter, on the right side of the oval and slightly lower than the eyeholes. The circles should be drawn so that they form a triangle (see Resources). Add three more identical circles on the left side of the oval and aligned with the first set.
-
5
Design a U-shape out of eight circles a quarter-inch in diameter, an inch above the eyeholes. Draw three circles, a quarter-inch in diameter, an inch to the right of the row of circles in a triangle. Add the same triangle shape on the left side of the mask.
-
6
Trace the mask with the fine-tipped black marker. Color in all of the circles on the mask.
