How to Make a Homemade Lacrosse Wall

As an aspiring lacrosse star, the single most important thing you can do to develop your game is to make use of a throwing wall. By bouncing the lacrosse ball against the wall, you can hone your throwing and catching skills in an efficient and timely manner. This particular wall is made specifically to lean against trees or another support structure in order to allow for multiple throwing angles, making it a versatile way to improve your game.

Instructions

    • 1

Line up one of the 4-foot long boards against a long side of the the plywood, with the plywood sitting on the broad side of the board. The two-by-four should go all the way to the edge of the plywood. Place the other boards beneath the plywood to help it lie flat

    • 2

Nail the plywood to the first board within three inches from each end of the plywood. Put two more nails equally spaced between the two nails in the corners

    • 3

Repeat the previous step on the other long side of the plywood with the other 4-foot board. Each of the plywood's longer sides should now have a two-by-four connected for support.

    • 4

Cut the shorter boards with the saw if needed, so they fit snugly to the longer ones

    • 5

Position two of the shorter boards flush beneath and along either end of short sides of the plywood.

    • 6

Nail the shorter boards to the plywood similar to the way you nailed the longer ones. Nail the last of the shorter boards to the center-back of the plywood, increasing the overall strength of the board.

    • 7

Lean your rebound wall against a wall or tree, trying different angles to change the rebound trajectory of your shots.
