How to Make Slide Board Booties
The slide board is a simple flat, slick surface. The board has one stopper board on each end and is used as an athletic training aid. It is especially common for training ice and roller skaters, but the lateral movements are valued by most athletes. Slide board booties are easy to make and are used to slide on the board. The standard retail booties are nylon or wool, with an elastic band. The booties are worn over the barefoot or over shoes, depending on the user's preference.
