1
Read the instructions for the Formica cement carefully, then mix it.
-
2
Lay the board flat on the ground and apply the cement to the top side of the board as directed.
-
3
Position the Formica sheet, glossy side up, on top of the cemented board. Instruct your helper to take one end while you take the other and carefully lay it exactly on top of the board. The cement will bond very quickly, so there is no margin for error.
-
4
Press the Formica gently to the board to let it to bond fully and smoothly. Let it set according to the instructions.
-
5
Apply the No More Nails glue to one of the wooden posts according to the instructions on the container. Lay the post along one end of the board so it forms a barrier preventing the user from sliding off the end. Set the post firmly on the board so it stays in position. Repeat with the other post. Let the glue dry.
-
6
Spray the board with the silicone release spray before use and as required in future. Wear the felt boots or put wool socks over your shoes to allow for a good slide.
