Artsports World offers an enjoyable and interesting out-of-the box summer camp in its day and half-day camps for ages 4 to 12. Children can enroll in trampoline and tumbling, swimming and even rope climbing. For the older kids--ages 7 and up--there is an overnight trampoline camp. Artsports even offers a circus camp, with world-class clowns teaching kids how to entertain like a champion. Dance classes and parties are also available during the summer. Artsports' unique approach to children's sports will have your child interested all summer long. Summer sessions at Artsports World start in May and continue through the summer into the first two weeks of August. Registration begins in February.
Brazilian Capoeira in Colorado Springs

One of the more distinctive and fascinating camps offered in Colorado Springs is the Brazilian capoeira camp, held in May, June and July. Capoeira combines martial arts, acrobatics, live music, and dance into a combination that is unlike any other. Whether your child is interested in martial arts, learning acrobatics, or learning to perform live music--Brazilian Capoeira in Colorado Springs can supply it during their summer sessions. They also offer Portuguese tutoring for use in classes, movement videos and scholarships. Meeting for capoeira in the Colorado Academy of Music and Dance will also allow your children exposure to belly dancing, piano and violin lessons, and percussion instruction.
City of Colorado Springs Camps

Partnering with Skyhawks Sports Camps, the City of Colorado Springs offers a variety of sports camps for kids of ages 4 to 15. Emphasizing elemental skills and sportsmanship, the beginning and the experienced youthful athlete will find what she are looking for in the summer camp sessions. Activities include soccer, tennis, volleyball, softball, baseball, and basketball. For the soccer fan, there is the Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp with technical drills, games with small sides, and the Challenger coaching staff, which is comprised of an international (although mostly British) group of soccer professionals. Blue Mountain Ranch Youth Camp

If your child is a lover of outdoor sports, you can consider the programs offered in fishing, hiking, tennis, riflery and horseback riding that are offered at Blue Mountain Ranch. With an emphasis on helping kids develop not only physically but morally and emotionally, Blue Mountain Ranch offers seemingly endless activities in its summer sessions. Sessions start in June and go five weeks until the first week of August. Additional activities include cheerleading, arts and crafts, drama, tennis, basketball, baseball, track, volleyball, rappelling, mountain climbing and canoeing. Field trips to the USAF Air Force academy, the US Olympic Training Center and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo are all included. Evening activities include skit nights, talent nights, dances, capture the flags, singalongs and more.
