Dinos--University of Calgary
-
Calgary is the largest city in Alberta, Canada. The University of Calgary, through its Dinos program, holds summer hockey camps every year. Camps are split into five different age-group levels: novice, for players 7 to 8 years old; atom, for players 9 to 10 years old; peewee, for players 11 to 12 years old; bantam, for players 13 to 14 years old; and midget, for players 15, 16 and 17 years old. Each level is also split by gender, and both girls and boys are exposed to the same on- and off-ice conditioning. With world-class coaches and Olympic-level hockey players teaching the sessions, spots are limited. Registration begins in early spring.

Along with the instructors, players from the Calgary Flames and the Calgary Hitmen work with camp participants in practice drills.
