Ice Hockey Summer Camps in Pennsylvania

There are a number of summer hockey camps in Pennsylvania that can prepare hockey players for the upcoming hockey season. The camps typically are held in one-week sessions. Some camps offer specific skill instruction while others offer more broad instruction. All of the camps offer instruction based on age and/or division of competition.

    Jim Watson Hockey Camp

    • The Jim Watson Hockey Camp at the IceWorks Skating Complex is designed to develop hockey players in a challenging and fun way. The program emphasizes a positive atmosphere and positive reinforcement to campers. Skills such as power skating, checking, shooting and passing are developed.

      Sessions held on ice are age-specific. They run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lunch is provided.

      One week of sessions costs $400; two weeks cost $675. Group discounts are available.

    Puck Masters Hockey Camp

    • Puck Masters Hockey Camp is available for Mite, Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam hockey players. Collegiate players are welcome during their Hybrid camps.

      The camp emphasizes small size groups for more individualized instruction. The camp focuses on speed and agility development. They also provide interactive simulators and time on the ice for specific skill development.

      Sessions typically last four to five hours, starting in the afternoon and ending in the evening. Week-long sessions cost $495 dollars per player.
