How to Join a Rugby Club
Instructions

-
1
Visit your local college. Even if you're too experienced to play for them, they can guide you to local amateur rugby players in your area, or check out USArugby.org on the Web.
-
2
Contact your local American National Rugby League team. The ANRL is the only organized amateur rugby league in the U.S., and if you think you're good enough, try out for the team in your city. Most ANRL teams are located in the Northeastern states.
-
3
Buy fresh rugby gear at Worldrugbyshop.com. Jerseys, shorts, kicking tees and rugby balls are for sale here.
-
4
Support the emerging sport of women's rugby in the U.S. by attending NCAA games. If you're a female athlete, consider participating in this growing sport. As proof, just check out the University of Georgia Women's Rugby Football Club at uga.edu/rugby.

5
Practice a lot! Americans have plenty of catching up to do when it comes to claiming equality on the rugby field with their British counterparts.
