How to Apply Toko Universal Liquid Fluoro Wax

Whether you are a professional skier or just like to have fun on the slopes, you can increase your skis’ performance and keep them in good condition by keeping them well waxed. The wetter and more slushy the snow is, the more often you should wax your skis. Toko Universal Liquid Flouro Wax is a topical wax that can be used to prolong the effects of a hot wax, or keep your skis in good condition until you can get them waxed properly.

Instructions

    • 1

Clean your skis well before waxing them. Use a wax remover to remove any traces of wax that may remain from a previous waxing.

    • 2

Lay your skis upside down on a flat surface, giving you easy access to the base of each ski.

    • 3

Pour the Toko Universal Liquid Flouro Wax into the sponge applicator. In most cases, a sponge ski wax applicator will come with your ski wax kit. If not, you can purchase one at any ski supply store.

    • 4

Push the spongy tip of the applicator firmly against the base of one ski and move it back and forth across the surface, horizontally against the ski as you go. It may be necessary to apply more wax to the applicator midway through the process, depending on the size of the ski.

    • 5

Complete the same process for the other ski.

    • 6

Allow both skis to dry completely.

    • 7

Buff the bases of your skis with a soft cloth to smooth out the wax.
