Sandia Peak Ski Area
-
Sandia Peak sells lift tickets that are less expensive than most other resorts in New Mexico. The area has nearly 30 named trails and three major lifts in addition to the aerial tramway, which the ski area bills as the world’s longest. The High Finance Restaurant is at the top of the tramway at just over 10,000 feet, and tickets to the tramway can be purchased separately from lift tickets. The ski area also has a newly opened terrain park for snowboarders. Rentals and lessons are available for skiing and snowboarding.
